The concept is so interactive — everyone picks their favorite broth (we tried the classic and spicy), then adds thinly sliced meats, fresh veggies, noodles, and dumplings to the bubbling pot. My little chef was so happy to try cooking it all. The food quality was excellent — super fresh ingredients, flavorful broths, and plenty of options for everyone. The staff was friendly and patient, explaining how to mix the sauces and how long to cook everything. It’s the perfect spot to go with family or friends if you want something cozy and different. "I had a great experience at Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot. The quality of the meat was excellent — fresh, tender, and perfect for hot pot. The shrimp paste is a must-order and incredibly flavorful. Their drinks were also surprisingly good, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Expect to spend around $50 per person, which feels reasonable for the quality and experience. "I stopped by American Dream on the way to see the fall foliage and couldn’t believe my eyes — Little Sheep Hot Pot just opened here! I used to love this place back in China — my parents and I would go every time I was home. Never thought I’d see it in New Jersey! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful — probably one of the most elegant and spacious hot pot spots I’ve ever been to. It’s super clean, with a well-organized sauce bar and comfortable seating. I love the modern decor They offer both large shared pots and individual mini pots. We chose chicken broth and tomato broth — both were rich and flavorful. For meats, we ordered their classic lamb slices, which came in generous portions and tasted exactly like how I remember from China — fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Since it’s their grand opening, we got a free beef platter with our Wagyu slices . The Wagyu was amazing — just a few seconds in the pot and it melted in the mouth. So good! The beef tongue was another favorite — tender with the perfect chew, definitely recommend trying it. We also got the lamb skewers, which were perfectly seasoned and juicy. Having both hot pot and grilled meat made me feel like I was right back home."

"We loved the dual tomato/spicy broth, and the lamb leg & beef plates were so fresh (and half-off on the second order!). The grilled lamb skewers from the BBQ menu were a smoky, delicious surprise. Washing it down with a cocktail from the full bar made us feel toasty inside and out. Great ambiance, efficient service—a must-visit in the mall."

"We celebrated a friend’s birthday at American Dream this time, and since it was hard to find a big table for a large group, we ended up choosing Little Sheep. It turned out to be an amazing surprise! Everyone at the table loved the food and had a great time. They also offer seasonal soup bases—this time it was Tom Yum, and last time we even had a Vietnamese pho broth, which was so cool. I’ve always hoped a hot pot place would offer pho or beef noodle soup broth, and Little Sheep actually made it happen They have plenty of vegetarian broth options too. My vegetarian friend said this is her favorite hot pot so far because the veggie broths are flavorful and there are several to choose from. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey—around $50 per person before tax. You can choose a large split pot or get your own individual pot; I personally prefer the individual one. The meat portions are huge! Especially the lamb shoulder roll—when it came out, the plate was so massive that I thought they brought the wrong size They also have current promotions: Spend $100 → Free fatty beef or lamb Spend $175 → Free short rib Spend $200 → Free wagyu Great deal if you love meat, and their quality is genuinely good. If you get tired of hot pot, they also offer skewers. We tried the lamb skewers and they were pretty tasty. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting American Dream and want a reliable, delicious hotpot"

"Came here after walking all over American Dream — Little Sheep on Level 3 was a perfect find. Took my friend for his first hotpot experience. We got the classic and spicy broth combo, the beef skewers were amazing, and even the beef tongue was a hit (he said “we’re getting this next time too!”). Ended strong with Prime Beef fried rice and Mango Coconut drink. They have this great deal until Feb 28: Buy one order of fatty beef or lamb leg meat, get the second one 50% off! Perfect for loading up on meat. Great spot to refuel after shopping. Service was friendly and the soup bases were flavorful."

The space feels spacious and slightly upscale, with attentive service and fresh ingredients. The tomato and mushroom split broth was the perfect balance of bright and rich. The lamb was tender with no gamey taste, the shrimp paste was bouncy, and the salted egg yolk fish balls were packed with flavor. Would definitely recommend."
